All that to say, the HomeGroup is still functioning, but not visible or recognizable in the HomeGroup window. Recently, I bought a new HP laptop with Windows 10 installed. I set up a HomeGroup that connected the loptop to my printers via a wireless cable modem to a switch. I upgraded my HP laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 back in September 2015.
